Well, here’s another ‘compilation’ success story I came across recently. This guy basically contacted all the internet “gurus” he could find and asked them one simple question about internet marketing…

“What was the biggest mistake you ever made online?”

Simple question, eh? Well guess what? Most of these gurus actually took the time out to reply to him with DETAILED answers to this question. And no, he didn’t pay them!

The guy then COMPILED all of this FREE and valuable information into an eBook.

These same gurus then agreed to help market his eBook to their own subscribers (for a tasty split of the profits, of course) and made a ton of money on this project. Remember, he hardly had to do any writing and his sole marketing was simply to get these gurus to email their own subscribers.

The point is to demonstrate to you just how simple it is to create a super-successful info product – even if YOU don’t know anything (which of course you do, really).

Now before you rush out and start firing off questions to internet marketers. Perhaps there’s another market of people closer to you? Think about how you could apply this technique to a market of people other than “internet marketing” or “biz opps”?

There’s gold in them thar hills!

If you’re not already involved in “business opportunities” - then consider a creating an info product on a different subject. Something less competitive perhaps? And importantly something you actually have an interest in?

You could have an interest for ummm, I don’t know… let’s say fitness, for example. In fact this is good because people actually spend a lot of money in this area particularly when they’re “in heat” (e.g. on the latest diet/fitness craze).

“Fitness” can be broken down into several different niches, if you like.

There’s diets (Atkins); Different types of exercise (Pilates, Aerobics); There’s weight training (bodybuilding); then there’s your die-hard fitness fanatics like me (not!)

Let’s take bodybuilding as an example. Could you find a forum and a few websites devoted to bodybuilders? Of course you could. Could you write and ask several experts one specific question:

“What’s YOUR ‘secret’ to developing HUGE biceps?”

Of course you could!

Can you compile all this information into an eBook and then title it “Massive Bicep Secrets – Exposed!”

Yes, yes, YES!

And who would you get to get to assist you in marketing it? Those same experts you questioned of course (Duh!)

This is one of the simplest techniques that you can use to get yourself started and can be applied to any subject you can think of. What’s more, you need to begin with simple projects to ensure that you actually finish them, because here’s another little ‘rule’ of mine:

“If it takes more than 30 days to finish, then it won’t get done!”

Remember that and start small and simple. This technique could be just the one to kick-start you into action. You could soon have your own super-profitable KILLER info product in no time!
